If you want to get pregnant you need to monitor the exact time periods of your menstruation cycle for two or three months before you finally start using the ovulation test OvuQUICK. The female menstrual cycle begins with the first day of bleeding and ends with the last day before your next menstruation starts. If your menstruation cycle is irregular, you can select the shortest cycle as a criterion for the use of the ovulation test.
You can check the days before your next possible ovulation with the help of the table below. From the day your next menstruation starts and onwards you must count the number of days using the figure you derived from the table. On the last day you can begin to use the ovulation test. From now on you must use the ovulation test every day until it detects that you are ovulating.
Example: The average length of your menstruation cycle is 28 days. Your last menstruation began on the third of August. Now, the table shows that you must calculate 9 days from August the third onwards. Adding 9 days to August the third brings you to August the 11th. So, you start to test on August the 11th.
You must use the ovulation test as follows: On the first day of testing you have to gather urine in the sterile cup. With the help of the accessory pipette you trickle three drops of urine on the sample dent of the cassette. After that you need to start the timing. OvuQUICK supplies you with one cup and one pipette for each testing day.
The ovulation test is activated as soon as you notice a slightly red fluid movement over the test and control lines. You can see the test result after 5 or 8 minutes.
The result of OvuQUICK is positive. Your ovulation will happen in the next 24-36 hours. Now the days are extraordinary fertile: this is an optimal time to have sex with your partner if you plan to get pregnant.
The result of OvuQUICK is negative. No increase of the hormone LH could be proven. Continue the testing on the next day.
The result of OvuQUICK is invalid. Please use a new testing cassette and check the instruction manual.
